Is a recipient of “Dr. Vyagreswarudu memorial award”, for young surgeon.
Has performed one of the world’s largest Hepatic artery aneurysm resections successfully during his tenure as a GI and HBP surgeon.
Having been trained in Thoracic oncology under Prof.Chandrshekar, Dr.Anand had performed a series of pulmonary and mediastinal surgeries independetly.
Has performed many complicated GI and Hepatobiliary procedures such as liver resections, hilarcholangio resections, postcholecystectomy complicated biliary strictures, choladochal cyst excision portacaval shunts, complicated chronic pancreatitis surgeries like Lateral Pancreaticojejunostomy, whipples procedure, cetralpancreatectomy, distal pancreatomy.
Awarded a diploma in laparoscopic surgery by the prestigious Strasberg University and IRCAD, France in 2006
Did MD (Liver Transplant) fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital in 2011. As a result he stands out as well equipped and tested Liver and HBP Surgeon in this part of the world.
